Understanding your body

Spine Care

Spinal related disorders are conditions that may include back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, pinched nerves and other symptoms directly related to the spine. Problems with spinal structures can cause localized or radiating pain, tingling or numbness in your back, neck or extremities.

We create a customized treatment plan taking into consideration your pain level, medical history and lifestyle to find a solution that works for you. This could include a mix of chiropractic care, pain management and perhaps even physical therapy. If your pain is unresolved through non-invasive methods and it is affecting your quality of life, we can facilitate a referral to the appropriate provider for care.

Trigger Points

Myofascial pain syndrome is a chronic condition that causes pain in the muscles in your back and extremities, often called trigger points. These trigger points may radiate pain when pressure is applied to them. Sometimes this pain can be in what seems to be an unrelated part of the body like arms, legs, jaw or chest.

We treat trigger points with manual myofascial therapy. This therapy normally includes direct pressure upon the trigger point, the use of active anchor-and-stretch myofascial release our ultrasound therapy with good result.
